To some, art is a means of expression. For Teresa it’s a way of life that’s taken many forms over the years - from filmmaker and musician to designer and artist. Teresa studied fine art at the University of Washington, and continued her valuable “education” with the people, places and experiences she encountered while traveling around the country as a musician.
When she landed in Los Angeles, her music career segued into design when her artwork appeared on the costumes of notable designer Bill Whitten, who created many of the memorable looks for Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, Elton John and others. Next, she used her fine art talents to design and paint decorative art for Interior Designers.
And then her career thrived as she worked her way up to Senior Design/Art Director of Applause, Inc., working with licensed collectible product lines for Raggedy Ann and Andy, Peanuts, Sesame Street, Disney and others.
In 1995 she went out on her own, and today Teresa’s designs appear everywhere from apparel, plates and packaging to brochures, catalogs and collateral for her A-list of mega-clients like Disney, Nestle, and Cartoon Network.
Teresa is now adding art licensing to her offerings. Licensors will benefit from her unique style and they can look forward to the kind of professional relationship that comes from her years of experience - communication excellence, digital expertise and flexibility in all phases of the process - (except deadlines!)
Teresa lives and works in the lush green foothills of the Verdugo mountains with her husband George, son Marcus and two cats, Polly and Lil’ Miss Sunshine.
